Planning & Zoning Commission
Responsibilities
The Planning and Zoning Commission advises the City Council on issues pertaining to land use, zoning, building permits, and planning and development in the city. The Planning Commission meets, reviews information from staff, and makes recommendations to the City Council on various zoning related issues including:
- Ordinance Amendments
- Rezoning
- Variance Requests
- Conditional Use Permit Applications
The commission consists of eight members who each a serve four-year term and are appointed by City Council. Residency and land ownership is required to serve on the commission.
Meetings - All meetings are open to the public.
- 6:30 P.M. in person meeting on the first Monday of each month
