Boat Dock Permit

The City requires a permit for the installation or placement of any boat dock located within public waters or along designated shoreline areas within city limits.

This permit process helps ensure docks are placed safely, do not interfere with navigation, protect water quality, and comply with local, state, and environmental regulations. Reviewing dock placements also helps maintain fair and consistent access for all residents and visitors.

Before installing or placing a dock, please review the application requirements and submit the completed form along with any required documentation and fees. Incomplete applications may delay approval.

Permit Fee: $25.00

Permit Expiration: This permit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issuance and must be renewed annually by May 1st.
