2025 Electric Rates
The Public Utility Commission approved new rates at the August 5, 2025 meeting. New rates will take effect September 1, 2025. The increases are needed to cover increased operational and maintenance costs. Additionally, several large capital projects are planned to be completed in the near future. In order to prepare for these projects and prevent a large rate spike, incremental rate increases this year and over the next several years, will be necessary.
