The Mission of the Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center is to provide the Lake Crystal area and surrounding communities with a family-oriented facility that will encourage people of all ages to improve their health and physical fitness through the use and enjoyment of a variety of recreational activities. The Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center (LCARC) is an amazing multi-functional recreation and community center serving Blue Earth County, Nicollet County and beyond.

• Fully-equipped weight room with free weights, fitness machines, and cardiovascular equipment
• Aerobics room with spin bikes, TRX equipment, kettle bells, and more
• Gymnasium with two full courts for various recreation activities
• Elevated running and walking track
• Zero-depth entry, 6-lane pool with a 102' waterslide, children play pool with slide, and hot tub.

 

The LCARC provides programming ranging from Senior events (Lunch and Learn Series, Senior Aerobics, Health Education) to our highly-regarded Fit Kids program for school-aged children.  The LCARC hosts many events in the two community rooms and gym space from family celebrations to vendor fairs and craft shows.

The LCARC is working towards a 2,200-square-foot expansion that will feature a large play structure along with accessible ground elements. The indoor playground, like the rest of the center, will be open for both members and non-members. The playground will provide additional recreation options for the center’s members, guests, and growing Fit Kids program.
