Public Input Opportunity: Help Shape Blue Earth County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan
Blue Earth County is in the process of updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan and is seeking input from residents, businesses, and community organizations. This plan identifies local risks from natural hazards such as tornadoes, flooding, blizzards, and extreme temperatures, and outlines strategies to reduce future impacts.
Public feedback is an important part of this process. Community members are encouraged to share their experiences with severe weather events and offer suggestions on ways to reduce future risks.
