All are welcome at the 2024 Arbor Day Celebration!
The City of Lake Crystal will be hosting a 2024 Arbor Day Celebration at Marston Park in downtown Lake Crystal on Friday, April 26th. Arrive with friends and family to attend a tree planting and Mayoral Proclamation of Arbor Day in Lake Crystal. There will be a number of activities including tree sapling giveaways from Crystal Waters Project, LCWM Ag Department plant sales, and Ace Hardware gardening booth. Test your tree knowledge at the MN DNR booth for a chance to win prizes.
Lake Crystal Public Library will host various Arbor Day crafts. Rock painting, tree sidewalk chalk art, and scavenger hunt will begin at 2:30 PM. Additional booths and events will begin at 3:30 PM. Bring a painted rock or paint one at the painting station to create a garden rock snake. Submit your name choice for the rock snake that will be placed around City Hall.
Get the chance to meet and learn about piglets!
Enjoy a sweet treat and iced coffee from Infusion Baking Co or a delicious meal from Lep's Take Me Out Food Truck. Delft Honey Company will also have a booth featuring a variety of honey - the smoked honey is a must - and will answer any questions about honey, bees, and the pollinator process!
