City of Lake Crystal's Refuse & Recycling Information

Refuse & recycling pickup is every Friday (Unless notified due to weather or observed holidays)
Place bins out on the curb for pickup by 7:00 A.M. Please place bins 3 feet apart from each other and other obstacles.
ALL containers must be places at the end of the driveway or edge of the property near the road.
64 gallon bins for refuse and recycling are provided. If damaged or missing, please contact the City Hall replacements.
If you have more refuse than allowed, garbage bag tags are available for purchase at the City Offices: 1 for $3.00 or 10 for $28.00

Recycling Guidelines:

Recycling is single-sort, so all acceptable recycling can be put into the yellow-lidded container. For a list of acceptable recyclables, check the LJP website under the residential tab.
Any large pieces of cardboard that do not fit inside the container provided must be broken down to a 3ft x 3ft size in order to fit in the truck.

During the winter months, keep pathways leading to bins and the bins clear of snow and ice for the safety of LJP employees.

REMINDER: ALL Garbage placed in your garbage can must be bagged or it will not get picked up.
